Pilot MDI Plant will start up in Dzerzhinsk in November

Start of MDI production in Dzerzhinsk

"Sintez OKA" presented its new Research Center for the development of low- and medium-tonnage chemistry technologies. The center is a resident of the "Kulibin" special economic zone in Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod Region).

It is planned that in November 2024, the Research Center, under an agreement with "Sibur", will begin works on piloting the process of obtaining polymethylenediphenyldiisocyanate (PMDI) on a pilot plant, "Sintez OKA" reported.

The volume of investments in the project to create a Research center will amount to 307 million rubles. The main tasks of the established R&D center are: development of new technologies, technological support of existing production facilities in the field of organic and petrochemical synthesis, development of a branded range of products.
