"Sintez OKA" will launch the production of polyalkylene glycols and polyesters in the Kulibin SEZ

The Expert Council of the Kulibin SEZ (Nizhny Novgorod region) supported the application of the "Syntamin" company for obtaining resident status. "Syntamine" is part of the "Sintez OKA" Group of Companies, controlled by "Himtek", a major supplier of chemical products in Russia and the CIS countries. The "Syntamine" project involves the creation of a production of polyalkylene glycols (PAG) and polyesters (PPE) with a capacity of 15 thousand tons per year, "Sintez OKA" reports in a press release. The new company will produce, among other things, special brands of PAG, which are the raw material base for the production of special oils and oil demulsifiers. They are not currently manufactured in Russia. The total volume of investments in new production will exceed 2.7 billion rubles, the "Sintez OKA" Group of Companies indicated.
